The Montreal Visual Arts Center is Canada’s largest bilingual independent Art School. They offer a variety of courses at different levels in fine arts, jewelry making, and ceramics. Since 1946, they have built a thriving community of artists, teachers, and students. This project explores what a redesigned website for the VAC could look like.
A colourful palette was chosen to reflect the diverse community and environment of the VAC. The use of duotone images allowed the creation of a cohesive and pleasing aesthetic.
Refining the site’s search function was a key element in the redesign process. Additional filters were included to allow viewers to narrow down their results and make the available courses more accessible.
